My name's Eddie Schoonover, I live in Calif. and am getting back into the modeling scene after some 20yrs.Big Smile [:D] I have a strong interest in the RA-5C Vigilante (circa 1966) along with the A3D Skywarrior (circa 1959-62) and, the F2H 3/4 Banshee (1958) all due to an uncle whom had been a Naval Aviator whom had been killed in the RA-5C 16Jan66 in Vietnam during a night landing in RA-5C BuNo: 149312 (of RVAH-9, on CVA-61)
Found the RA-5C in 1/72 but, been waiting for it to come out in 1/48 scale. Trumpeter has done that & I am awaiting it's arrival soon!Cool [8D] If anyone has any pics of this airceraft, Please contact me as I want to display it in RVAH-9 markings w/ my uncle's BuNo.
Thanks, Happy Modeling to y'all Eddie
