It's my 3rd day on the forum...extremely nice, knowledgeable people and exceedingly cool stuff!
I'm a 47 year old WW2 freak (especially armor and warships) who is going through a mid-life crisis, since my kids are growing up and leaving the nest. We've played classic rock and roll as a family band for years and that took all my spare time and then some, but now that the band's breaking up, I needed a new hobby to keep me from going crazy.
I built a lot of Tamiya 1/35 armor and numerous scales of WW2 ships in the 1980's and loved it. So now, I'm looking to catch up. Things have really advanced. I'm pretty clueless, but so far you have all been very patient with this noob. Thanks to all.....
