Hey, cool dj, that was my first attempt at posting a photo. Hopefully as I learn more about this computer thing I can put some picts of other stuff. You see I,m an old school fart who finally entered the modern world! I,ve always been a W.W.2 nut but just got back to building.(I guess I already stated that-sorry) I,ve always thought the Hetzer was a bad boy! Something about the design just looks cool. I've been trying to find a1/35 kit, but have had no luck. I guess DML had one but is no longer around.I'm also partial to Stugs and Jags. Thanks for the welcom!!!

Welcome aboard, StuG..! By the way, that Hetzer is now inside the building, in a 3-tone camo for the special exhibition commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge...

That does sound very interesting to try an old electric t-brush. I love doing W.W.2 aircraft but have been disappointed in some of the quality of the kits. I guess my real love is painting and finishing and have gotten lazy in my old age.I started a B.24 from Monogram and the fit was so terrible I FILLED AND SANDED my intrest right out of it.It's still in my closet so maybe with these suggestions I'll pull it out after I do a couple of armor kits.Thats one nice thing about this hobby the kits don't spoil!Big Smile [:D]

I'm glad to help. Maybe Swanny will chime in and tell us how to make a sander from a cheap electric toothbrush.

I also love the winter and all the season changes in Mi. The bottum really dropped out quick here in one day, from 50 to 12! Probably not as bad as Winterpeg! Thanks again.

It was 64 here on Thursday, today it's 9. MO weather is a real roller coaster ride.Wink [;)]

Hello Andrew, Welcome to the forum. I'm originally from Flint, MI and believe it or not I miss MI winters.
Have you considered getting a powered mini sander to help you with sanding and filing? Here is one that Micro-Mark offers. http://www.micromark.com/prodimgs/81065.jpg

Hey thanks. I just came up from working on the Italeri Sd.Kfz.234/2 Puma. Iv'e decided to work out the rust on some armour before tackling anymore aircraft. I did a fair job on a Tam. P.51B but the HAS. P.47D needs more work than my skills are up to right now. As soon as I figure out how to post picts. I'll put my M.18 dio. on for review. Thanks again

Hey everyone,I'm pretty new to this online stuff so bear with me.I just got back into models after 20 years. I always read the mags to keep up but never opened a kit.Well now I'm disabled and have the time but the disabillaty happers my modelling. Oh well it could be worse. The hardest part is with kits that need filling and sanding(mainly the W.W.2 aircraft I love) because my hands don't work so good.Enough whinning! I also dearly love W.W.2 armour and dioramas. The work I see in F.S.M amazes me. Hopefully I can come close some day. The fun is in the practice, right!!? Well happy building to all !!!
