Hello Everyone,
I am from Thousand Oaks, Calif ornia and I am getting back into modeling after a 21-year absence. I enjoy building military aircraft. I am currently choosing between the following planes.....A-6 Intruder, F-14 Tomcat, F-18 Hornet and an F-86 Sabre Dog. All are 1/48 scale. It will be a challenge for me to get back into it because the last time I built a model was the first time I ever used an airbrush. I am looking foreward to getting better and better each time I use it...hopefully. It is amazing all the tools, kits and resources that are available now compared to 20 years ago! It's awesome. This website is great as well as a few others I have seen.
Thanks for the oppurtunity to introduce myself. Look foreward to getting back into the swing of things and hearing from people.

Welcome John! I have the same story as you... coming back after oh so many years... imagine my shock when I found what people polish their floor with also makes your canopies clearer and makes your decals stay on? And some of the tools and after market things!

Anyhoo... welcome aboard and don't be shy! Lot's of helpful people with great advice here!
