Hello All
My name is Ken. I have been reading this forum for sometime now,and find it very interesting. Being an X Tanker from aways back,I posted some pictures at the site below, someone may be interested in.You'll have to fogive me at the time I wasn't doing them for reference photo'sBig Smile [:D]. I have more if anyone is interested I would be glad to E-mail them. They are from Viet Nam 4ID, 1/10 cav. 1966-1967. Then went to the 1/69th Armor 1968-1969.
At the present time I'm building a M3 honey - I did a PT-76 a few years back OOB - not knowing what I was doing - hope to redo that one as it was the Tank we fought against at the battle of Ben Het.
I am enjoying this forum and am getting a lot of info,to help.
Ken

Well depending on what unit you are going to do,I might be able to help some with pictures of what we actually carried - We always looked like a Gypsy caravan. So anything particular you are lookin for let me know .I can E-mail pictures directly to you. I had a M48 kit awhile ago and never got around to building it. I think it ended up in the trash during a clean up.Tongue [:P]

Welcome to the forum, Ken. Anything you have to pass on would be really appreciated. We can never have too many references, especially from someone who saw it first hand.

Thanks! My e-mail is [edit: click "email member" to contact]. I would love to see what one looked like with all the equipment on it. It would also be nice to get a feel of what the red looks like. I remember my dad telling me everything seemed red, but it is hard to imagine

Ken, All I can say is thanks for being there and boy that dirt sure was red and covered EVERYTHING!!! Your photos are great. You wouldn't happen to have any of the NVA Soviet T-54/55's or the equivalent Chinese Type-59's would you? (Target practice for my M48's Smile [:)])

Hi PJ
No nothing on the 55's or 34 the only thing I came up against was the PT-76.
That's just a few shots ,I have hundreds available.Sent a bunch to Jason, for his project. But will look around and see if I can find anything on the 54 etc.
Looks like I'm going to enjoy this site.looking forward to some builds here.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome..Big Smile [:D]

Thanks for serving. Although I model WWII, I was both intrigued and grateful for you sharing your pics. Interesting thing about "washing out the red." I never knew that.

Cheers!
