Hi, I`ve done plastic scale modelling of aircraft and ships for
about 20 years. I thoroughly enjoy it. I also Crew Chief for
Red Storm Airshows featuring a 1977 Chinese MiG-17. It is like
the FT-5 aircraft that Trumpeter has recently put out. I crew chief
and do photography at airshows during the summer months. One of our next shows will be McConnell AFB in Wichita in Sept.
Just finished Davis-Monthan AFB, and Colo Sprngs "In Their
Honor" airshows. Looking for someone who can help me
find or make some decals for various air show acts. Thanx

Wish I could help out with your decals but I just would not know where to start. So instead, let me welcome you to the coolest Forum around, and I hope we'll hear from you soon again.

Hi! Welcome to our group. I'm sure you'll like it here. I have a MAJOR interest in Soviet Bloc a/c especially from the Cold War years. Hope I get to see your -17 fly some day!

Hi ya Dr. Dug ...

Welcome to the FSM Community Modeling Forum(s) ... I am sure someone here or there will be able to give you info on that decal project you are dreaming of. If you spend a little time here ... you are sure to find that we are a very friendly and diverse group of scale modelers.

Your airshow gig sounds very interesting ... perhaps you could share some stories and pictures with your fellow Forum members!

I hope you can find time to read a little ... post a little ... and toss your two cents in when you feel like it. That is part of what makes this such a great site for scale modelers. Again ... welcome and enjoy! Approve [^]

Welcome to FSM Doc. I've never heard of anyone making such specialized decals, they may be something you'll have to make yourself. Enjoy the forums.
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

Welcome, Dr. Dug. Hope you'll hang out here often. I know of a guy that makes custom decals occasionally using an Alps printer. I'll try to touch bases with him and refer him to this thread. Hope to hear more from you soon. - Ed
