Hi everyone, another newbie here. I'm an american who's been living in Germany for 15 yrs. Kinda got stuck here after tour of duty in Army. 10 yrs total in the Army- Military Intel and Engineers. I'm 42. I'm a big history buff- all topics and epocs. But I like to build almost exclusively WWII allied aircraft, mostly in 1/48, but occasionally in 1/72.

Welcome to the forum. I'm the same age and same interest in the same scale. But I don't live in Germany. I did travel to Austria once and learned just enough German to get lost. :)

Welcome Charles! What area of Germany are you in? I've only been up to the {cold war era) British sector after a short stop at Wiesbaden Army hospital to drop off a patient... I was in Dusseldorf mainly... great place!!

Hope you have some fun here, and there's plenty of knowledge to be sucked in on any subject you please!
