First Model
Posted by Jabbe on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 9:09 PM
Hi everybody. This is the first model I've made. It's a Testor's 1/72 Dauntless. First time I've ever used an airbrush too.

Overall, I think i did ok, but I realized I spotted a big mistake after I put on the clear coat. The two top wing emblems are not matched up like they should be. Oh well, most of my friends won't notice that.

Great job!! Its a good thing I built my first model more than 30 years ago, because now there's no photographic evidence of how bad it was!! You're off to a great start!! My first model was, coincidentally, this exact same model, but under the Hawk label...
