I'm Eric from GA and have been reading the boards for a while now. It looks like a great place with a bunch of great people and good information.
I started building models when I was 5 and continued through middle school just slapping them together and finally destroying them with firecrackers, pellet guns and anything else that was handy

When I was in high school I decided to get serious but was limited on funds for good airbrushes and a compressor was out of the question so I used a spare tire and a hand pump with limited success.
I had a hiatus from high school for about 10 years and finally had a good place to work and money to buy kits AND tools. I've been building my collection of kits, mainly modern jets and WWII AFV's but a mixture of other types too.
I was amazed at how far the hobby had advanced in the 10 years I wasn't active in it and today's kits and detail sets are truely amazing.
This is a great magazine and this forum is a wonderful tool for modelers of all skill levels.
I hope I can contribute as well as gain from this forum and look forward to getting to know some folks in here.
