Hi From Canberra, Australia.
Posted by Bill Clarke on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 11:54 PM
I have loved building models alll my life (I'm 46) and really love IJN subjects in 1/700, though it's hard on the eyes. My skill is not that great, and I really am scared of air brushing. I also love German armour, and all bombers.
As I am in the Air Force, my colleges find my nautical attraction rather strange.
This is a great forum, and i have fine scale modeller magazines going back to 1991.

Cheers.

Bill Clarke.

Welcome! I was scared of airbrushin too. But I got one for my birthday. I haven't used it yet, but everyone has been more than happy to answer all of my newbie questions. I was intimidated at first just looking at it, but now I'm ready to start practicing. Good luck and see you around the forum!

Good on ya on signing in! (best pommie accent). This is a great site and will help overcome your fear of airbrushing - just looking at other peoples efforts is enough encouragement to give it a go. Like everything in life it is a skill to be learnt but the basics can be obtained readily it's the finesse stuff thats harder (ask me how I knowBanged Head [banghead]). Try you won't be disappointed.Sign - Welcome [#welcome]

Sign - Welcome [#welcome] to the FSM Forums Bill, enjoy your time with us.

Its about time you did join us, when did you get back to Canberra from Wagga? Check out the Aussie modellers thread in the folder below this one and say Hi to the rest of us Aussies on this site. If you are wondering who I am, I was your friendly WORAD at FBN.
Wayne I enjoy getting older, especially when I consider the alternative.
