Hello everyone,
My name is Garth. I am active duty Army (15 yrs, Combat Engineer) currently stationed in Germany. My tour will be up soon and I will be moving on to Ft. Lewis, Washington. Modeling has always been appealing but I haven't been actively building for many years. I am looking forward to diving back into the hobby after the move. If anyone can recommend some good shops in the Seattle area I would appreciate it. My primary interest is military modeling (non-aircraft). I am looking foward to learning from everyone's experience and finding inspiration for new projects. I have been very impressed browsing the forums looking at some finished models that some of you have done. Anyway, thanks for looking and happy modeling!
BTW, I did an 11 month rotation in Iraq in '03 and have quite a library of pics if anyone needs reference photos (M1A1 / A2, M2A2 / A3, M113A3, HMMWV, and an assortment of Iraqi equipment in various stages of destrucion
