Hello all! I live in Southern California and have been modeling continuously for 30 years. I am a member of Orange County I.P.M.S. fir 5 years. I build both Armor and Aircraft in 1/72 scale, and ships in 1/500 to 1/720 scale.
As to my collection, it consists of this many completed kits, give or take about five or so either way.

Armor-1/72 scale: 326 pieces
Aircraft-1/72 scale: 227 pieces
Ships- 1/450-1/720 scale: 288 pieces
Buildings,-HO scale: 4 pieces
Cars-1/24 scale: 1 piece. (Tom Daniel's Red Baron)

I will try to post photos in these Forums later on of some of my work if I can.

Thank you gentlemen! I am also into it because of the same reasons Greg! :-)

I build Armor, ships and aircraft because when I was 9 or 10, a good friend moved in down the street and he had a third more kits built than I did. We used to wargame, his collection against mine, using modified rules from D&D, while adding our own to compensate for most WWII stuff fighting Modern stuff. It was interesting and most fun! Now, I build to take to my I.P.M.S. meetings to try and win more awards. So far I've won about 48 awards, mostly Craftsmanship.

Right now Bernie, I'm working on an Eagle Lander from Space 1999, the Assault Carrier U.S.S. Wasp, and four 1/72 scale Russian Armor units, while refurbishing much of my older Armor pieces.
