I'm koreanvet . I've been modeling aircraft for about 65 years , from the balsa and tissue
10 and 25 cent kits in the 3-'s and 40's, to wartime identification models, to the great plastic
injection molded kits of today. About 25 of my finished models are on display at the Air Heritage
Museum ata the Beaver County Airport in Pennsylvania.
I'm looking to find [and I'm relatively sure it's impossible to find] a 1/4 scale B-29 that
came out in the late 1960's (Yes. . . that's a long time ago). It came out under the name
or kit feature of "Cam-O-Matic, and it was a super kit. It was a battery operated jewel !
When completed and you hit a toggle switch, the propellers started to turn, one at a time,
then all four revved up to take off power and then it stopped. LIke many good fathers of
the time, I gave it to my son to play wIith. BAD DECISION !
If anyone has any ideas about where one of these kits might be found,
contact me at c.kerr2@verizon.net.
