Longtime Modeler, new to society

I've been modeling for three decades and enjoy slapping together a kit or taking eons to finish one. I had been on a serious hiatus for many years and returned to modeling about 3 years ago. The biggest reason is I bought my first home where I could build a modeling work bench.
I focus on 1/72 aircraft and armor. The challenge is fitting as many completed models in a room without spousal mutiny. Aircraft is somewhat old hack with techniques but building 1/72 armor is a challenge, especially when most armor building advice involves 1/35 scale.
Can somone steer me to the right forum?
