G'day Vulc'
I've just joined as well. I also enjoy doing armour. I recently finished a Tiger 1 Diorama and am now doing an Aussie M113 FSV.
The M113 is an old Tamiya model I picked up from a mates dad down in Brisbane. It's rare to see models of Aussie equipment so I was stoked to find this. Mine is a early version but I have seen a later version available from AFV I think. It's a cool vehicle, I even got an Aussie crew for it from Firestorm Models on the net.
Abrams is a nice tank. How are you going to do it?
I haven't heard of the Vulcan Spaag. I shall have to look it up.
Anyway, catch you later. Wacky

AWESOME NAME!!!!

There's nothing better to break up an "attempted" ambush than your namesake!!!! 3,000 rounds per minute for ground targets and 6,000 rpm for air.

I wish that we still had them! We wouldn't need any "gun trucks" if they were still in business!

Wecome vulcanspaag! Another Aussie joins the forum, quite of few folks from down under aound here now. I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with some of your Army guys last summer in Kuwait. They were very nice guys!

To post a picture in a post look above the "color" box and click on the 4th button from the right. It will insert without the spaces inside the brackets. Open your picture from Ron's site in another window and right click on the picture, select properties and highlight then copy the adress url and paste it between the two sets of image brackets. You can also type them manualy if you want.

Look forward to seeing you around on the forum.

Eric

Hello all,
I have just joined this marvelous forum after rejoining the modelling fraternity from a 20 year break.
I enjoy building 1/35 modern armour, currently tackling a M1A2 Abrams.
Previously built a Vulcan SPAAG, a picture of which is below. I have posted some others at www.rongeorge.com, and a million thanks to Ron for the site.
