In 1966 I put together my first aircraft model kit - an Airfix Hawker Hunter in 72nd scale. Since then I have been making 1/100 and 1/144 airliners, 1/48 and 1/72 warplanes and helos, 1/24 and 1/32 vintage cars, 1/600 and 1/700 warships and even the 1/87 HO trains. In early 80s there were some 250 models all over my house [plus similar number awaiting in boxes]. Then I went married, had some children, wrote some books and gave up the modelling activity. But since last year I am back here again - buying dozens of new kits, searching for the details and... modelling. Some people say that approaching fifty you get a new lease of life. Let's try it :)
