giving model building a try
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, August 4, 2005 8:04 PM
Hmm, not really used to this stuff. never been on a "forum" before, but my son says "its cool". He's teachin' me all this computer stuff. Several friends have suggested I try building models to help pass the time, so here I am for better or for worse,a friend got me a subscription to Fine Scale Modeler and another got me 2 or three models and they are helping me get all set up with a little workshop. I keep telling them that this is supposed to be a nice little calming hobby, not a beach assault. Sorry to say so much but my son says I should do it this way. He is laughing at my "post", maybe a few laps around the block will adjust his attitude. well, hope this goes well.

Welcome, blue_corsair.

It is a fun hobby (or supposed to be). I think once you spend more money on after-market accessories to complete just the ONE model, then it might be time to step back and take up jogging. Just kidding....no, really...

Thankyou f4u1d, I think it will be a while before I try things like that, just getting the model together without glueing my hand to my face will be sufficient for me. I like ur user name also, I have always had an affection for the plane.
