thanks for the info. this kit will probably sit on the shelf for awhile. revell, trumpeter, academy should come out with a 1/48 scale of this kit. we can only hope,i guess. i have two trumpeter kits. a 1/32 tbf-1c avenger ,1/48 fw200c-4 condor.i don,t even want to start putting them together, i,m just happy to look at such detail.thanks for listening.see you later.

Welcome to the FSM Forums Sign - Welcome [#welcome]. I've built a couple of FM kits in the past & vowed never again to pay such a high price for such lousy quality. Haven't bought one since & won't in the future unless they really clean up their act.

I am building this kit for a review right at the moment and I am very familiar with the kit. Should have read the review at great models. It's a tough kit and not one for inexperienced modelers considering it's multi-media and limited run. Also it's a fonderie miniature kit which should have been a clue as to the kit quality.

This kit is a diamond in the rough (very rough like almost a piece of coal), but with proper thought, attitude, problem solving and elbow grease can turn this kit into a spectacular build.

welcome to the forum , BTW

PS: Rick is right and I should have prefaced my comments with "Now that you have spent the money" and you would probably be better off with the sangor vac kit if you can find it.
