Hi everyone.
I'm new to this forum/board. I have been building models since well, I was about 6. That is well over 40 years ago! Before that, my father would either help or build them for me.
I build just about everything going so I don't get burned out and often techniques can be used on other subjects.
When I'm not building models, I also volunteer at the Toronto Aerospace Museum where I am involved with a bunch of others restoring a Lancaster bomber! Our group's web site is: www.lancasterfm104.com if you want to see what we're doing. I am also a life member at the Canadian Warplane Heritage museum and a 30 year plus IPMS/Canada member.
I am retired from the Canadian Forces (reserve) after 13 years where although I was trained as an infantryman, I spent my time in the unit's transport section. I have been involved with military vehicles in one form or another since 1972 and have had a number of former military vehicles of my own since 1977 until last year.
I prefer building Allied equipment as opposed to the German/Axis stuff. There's nothing wrong with building it, it's just not my "thing" you understand.
So that's about it. Catch ya on the boards somewhere.
