G'Day from Oz !
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, August 21, 2005 7:49 AM
Hi Everyone!

My name is Vasily (Vas), I'm from Brisbane - Australia :-)
I have just taken up the hobby seriously again after a pretty long lay-off.
Great to be back aye!
My main interests are WWII aircraft but I have started to toy around with AFV's and am finding that interesting as well.
Have been looking around this forum ... what a great community you guys have here ... if you don't mind, I'll keep in touch :-)

Cheers
Vasso - thats some crazy 'nic' I got a while back ...

Welcome to the Forum Vas, you'll enjoy being here, Brisbane has their Model Expo in the coming weeks and sadly I wont be venturing up there, but you'll find a few Victorians up there over the weekend.

Hi There Guys

Thankyou for the warm welcome!
It's great to finally get back to the hobby and this forum surely makes it even more interesting. I've come across some great articles as well, which are quite in depth describing tools and techniques, very helpful :-)

Lobbie - you mention there is a hobby show up here in Brisbane over this coming weekend ... I have no idea where and when ... if you could provide me with more info that would be greatly appreciated

Thanks again everyone
Cheers

Hi J.S. Harrison !

Nice to see I'm not alone in Brissy with regards to model making Big Smile [:D]

I have sort of kept to myself with this hobby for a while now ... now wanting to see who and what else is out there in the "Brisbane model making scene".

Do you know of any regular events that are worthwhile going to ? I know there is the model expo happaning this weekend, should be good Smile [:)]

Keep in touch
Vas
