Hi. I have checked out the forum and must say it is nice to finally find one with some good material to learn from. I have been building models for as long as i can remeber, but i am wanting more detailing and more of a profesional look to my models, so i joined up to see what i can learn. I Am currently building a Tamiya Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R, Tamiya Nissan Skyline Z-Tune R34, a revell '69 Shelby Cobra, and a Hasegawa 1/48th F-14 Tomcat A "Sundowners".

Like you I wanted to get better, more professional looking results from my modeling. I logged on about a year ago, and learned an encyclopedia's worth of info, tips, and techniques. I finished a Tamiya F4U-1A Corsair, and it's the best I've ever done! By the way, I'm originally from New Haven, IN, just east of Ft. Wayne. Big Smile [:D]

thanks guys. I have already learned a lot in just one day! I bought my F-14 and realized that i had no idea how to detail a jet, so that is what got me searching. I already found articles on wheathering and a lot of other helpful tips. Great forums, very organized and easily navagated!
