Bgrigg, I agree that this is not really old. But if my math skills aren't off, it will probably take me ages before I have build all of the models I have right now Big Smile [:D]

QUOTE: Your new wife probably realizes that a husband that spends hundreds on models, then stays home and builds them, is much better than a husband spending hundreds who knows where!

If you look at it that way, my first wife wasn't that smart at the time, because my other hobby was a BMW motorcycle (which, by the way, she didn't like either Laugh [(-D] )

The real reason why my present wife is urging me to build a large collection of models, is that she herself is very much collecting cross-stitch patterns. So, it's more like giving her an alibi to collect more of these things.Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Cheers

Hi there,

I joined in a few months ago, but up until now, I didn't use the site nor the forum very actively Blush [:I].
I started modeling at about 8 or 9. I kept it up until I was about 20.
Now, after 26 years, I would like to pick up modeling again. My first wife was not very charmed about this "playing around with toys" [:0].
Luckily for me, my new wife supports me very much and has been pushing me to start modeling again Cool [8D]. Even in such a way that she managed to persuade me to collect some 50 boxes with my favorite plane (Spitfire), over the last 2 years Big Smile [:D]. So, I think it will be time to start building these planes, before I get too old, isn't it? Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]
