Hi John, Hi Danny. Welcome to FSM. Make yourself at home on the Auto forum. You'll find quite a few there that share your enthusiasm.

Welcome!!
Did one car and that was it for me. I'm terrible at that glossy finish.(I'm paying for it on a base I'm doing too. Got a favorite technique, John?) Share some pics. The guys at the auto forum can't seen to get enough of them.
Oh gee Danny, I had no idea you liked F9F's. No indication at all;lololololLaugh [(-D]. I've got one on the wait list that I'm wanting to do as Ted Williams' from the History You Can Model feature. When I finally near starting it you'll have to give me a few suggestions. It'll be awhile though. See you around the forums!

Like cassibill, i've only built one car. it looked like it was a simple deal - couple of panels, 4 wheels and some windows... jeez was i wrong. i was 8 or something like that doing some nascar kit and what got me was that the parts for the engine alone outnumbered all the other parts. i glued my finger to the engine bay too. damn thing looked like i reved it too high and it just exploded! I'm thinking about giving it another try... i love the way you auto guys have all that great detail in the engine. post some pics!
