Greetings from Indiana
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, September 29, 2005 10:04 AM

Hello all. My name is John, and I live in Plainfield, Indiana which is just west of Indianapolis. I have been building models since I was about 10. I mostly build cars and trucks, but I am starting to branch out into ships and aircraft.

This is an entirely new experience for me. Parts, etc... are so much easier to find when they are in 1/24 or 1/25 scale. But, with a little research, and a boatload of patience, I think this will turn into something I enjoy. It's time to try and expand my skills by building something a bit more difficult than I'm used to.

I look forward to getting to know some of you, and calling on your knowledge and experience from time to time when I'm having a crisis.

Thanks in advance

Another Hoosier says hello. There are several more of us about. Kaleu is from Indy. I'm either in Muncie (BSU) or down at Batesville. Funny thing is there are so many modelers in IN and I can't find any around here.

I know what you mean. We've got a fairly busy LHS so I can't be the only one around here, but darned if I could name one.
