I'm Skyline-r33, also known as Chris, I've modeled more or less since the age of ten, starting with an Italeri F-19. I've moved on from that fictional(?) aircraft to other projects with mixed results, until I got a stint in wargame miniatures from Warhammer and WH 40K, where I truly learned how to model and paint. From there, I got back into cars in '99, which produced a fair NIssan 300ZX bi-turbo, an improved Skyline GT-R, and an Integra Type R in progress. From cars I modelled a large number of Mobile Suit Gundam figures, running from High Grade Gundam Wing to Master Grades and a couple 1/144 Universal Century suits. Now at 22, I've returned to aircraft and hope to learn airbrush techniques on an old F-111A, a Hasegawa VF-1 Valkyrie (from the animation Macross) and an old F-16 I found at my aunt's house. From there I hope to move on to 1/48 scale or higher and try more techniques. Considering how meticulous I try to be, that may take a while...
I am currently a student majoring in some business and computer stuff and experience in visual communications, and between my turtle-like pace at this hobby and the time I spend with my girlfriend, the going is slow for me and I hope to free up a little more time soon. I also love movies, science fiction novels, especially
Dune, and books on military aircraft. Having put in my 2 cents, I wish you all happy modeling.
