Hi. After following the forum and web-surfing for the past few weks, I'm a bit intimidated to be introducing myself to some of you folks. There's some serious talent out there. I'm dipping my toe in again after only one ship (Revell's suctioning dredger) in 20 years. The kits I've collected over the years include four Tamiya 1/350 battleships, an assortment of 1/72 Marine Expeditionary Unit aircraft and a 1/35 AAV; while I've collected them, they've collected dust. My return-to-the-hobby project, however will be the four Queen liners in 1/600 (Queen Mary in "1/570"). I'll be building out of the box; I'm not ready for kit-bashing (a new term for me, I like it!). Some day, though you may see me begging advice on how to convert my USS New Jersey c.1984 to USS Missouri c. 1986, when I served aboard her. Come to think of it, wouldn't a reader gallery subtitled "Oops!" be refreshing and even encouraging? Cheers.
