Welcome to FSM, I also build 1/48 aircraft, so I'll be seeing you around the forum.

darson: old habits die hard, and at my age, I'm not too challenged handling 1/48th warplane parts. I look forward to speaking more with you and all that have replied to my "hello". Thanks! Wayne, the "oldwoodstump"

Wayne, I’ve got to agree with Marc here you are really out on the fringe with 1/48 WWII Big Smile [:D].  Oh well, I suppose you me and Marc and the 1000's of 48th WWII will just have to live with that, welcome to FSM.

Cheers

"Hello" from a new member but an old modeler

Hello to all! I am new to this site but have subscribed to "Fine scale Modeler" for some time. I built models when I was a teenager, got away from it in my adult years but got back into it about 20 years ago. I am particularly interested in all participants of WW2, specifically in the aircraft area and almost exclusively 1/48th scale. I would love to speak with any modeler but particularly in reference  to WW2 aircraft. I am close to retirement and want to spend time building the kits I have accumulated over the years. I also want to get into dioramas and would be interested in learning from any like minded builders.  Propeller [8-]
