Hi, My name is Alan.
I am 38yrs old and have been modelling since i was approx 8yrs old.I am getting better at it with age.
I live in essex and am hapily married to Vanessa and have 5 children between us.
i like modelling militay jet aircraft mostly in 1/48th and 1/32.
I am always happy for advice and would like to correspond with other modellers.
I have a background with aircraft as i spent 12yrs in the RAF as a weapons technician working on the Buccaneer and the Tornado GR1.
I met many good friends during this time.
If there are any others out there who have served or are serving their country in the Air Force perhaps we could correspond.
Hope to here from you all.
Alan.

Hi Alan,

Nice to meet you. Listen, I have a Friend in Belgium who is looking after some particular detail shots of the Buccaneer.. If I ask him exactly what he need, do you think you could find the info?

Alan,

my friend is modelling a 1/32 FMk2B, from the 80's or early 90s, but he is stuck because he can not find good shots of the back half of each cockpit... He's looking for good pictures showing the plate behind the seat, as well as the side panels and walls, from say, 2 o'clock to 10 o'clock (from the pilot or ECM's points of view). Front halves of both cockpits and the seats are no problem...

Alan,
Just thought I'd drop you a line to say Hi. I also like 1/48 jets-nice to have you on board!

Darren.
