Just an introduction to a new guy on the forum.

I have modeled since 1948 in all mediums although recently I model less and research more.

I have a library of over 2,900 books that cover all aspects of WW II. I frequently go to the National Archives where I gather German records, especially on the Eastern Front. I have a complete set of 19 volumes in German by a guy named Tessin who detailed the German military down to the batallion level.

I spend a great deal of time determining how many armored vehicles were built by the Germans, when they were built, by type. When they were delivered and to which unit they were delivered.

Between my library and my own research I can answer many questions about the war in Europw and especially between the Germans and the Russians.

I also sell two booklets at this time.

Trail of the Tigers-138 pages of where all Tiger Is and IIs went and what happened to them.

Afrikaner Tigers- 70 or so pages on Tiger tanks in Tunisia.

In addition I am working on a book that covers all army assault gun units and another book on German armor in the Italian campaign.

If interested let me know since I sell my books via the internet.

I will also help to answer questions regarding the Wehrmacht in WW II.

Happy holidays to all you modelers.

Sounds like you have a lot to offer the treadheads here! Word to the wise, the moderators frown on overt selling in the forums. In fact it's expressly forbidden in the FAQs. They offer reasonable classified rates for such and prefer to see that kept in that area. I'm sure they will let this slip by as you are introducing yourself.

Now that that's behind us, how's life on the Point? I'm an old Vancouverite and have many fond memories of visiting the Point on Sunday for wobbly pops, back when BC still lived in the Dark Ages of no drinking on Sundays.

So long folks!

Welcome to the Forums Ron Sign - Welcome [#welcome].  I'm an aircraft modeler, but sounds like you could be a popular resource for the Armor modelers.

Regards,  Rick
