No i noticed there isn't a rail section but hey there are enough of them out there :).  Your right though, a lot of the techniques will be applicable and it's one reason why i used to read the old forum postings as i learnt a fair bit from them.

Would love to get back into the kit building side of things again, i threatened to when i quit smoking but it doesn't seem to have happened (the kit building that is not the stopping smoking, now been smoke free for 9 months), although i aquired several kits in readiness, maybe when the railroad has started to take shape a little more i'll get one of them out and give it a go.   Anyways, thanks for the welcome rjk, look forward to seeing you around the forum :).

Welcome back Roy.  Not much here specifically Railroad oriented, but many of the modeling techniques discussed/displayed would be applicable.

Regards,  Rick

Hi there, was registered on the old forum (before the changes), but never got round to doing much posting.  Am gaining an interest in N Gauge Railway modelling and keep threatening to get my layout started, you know how it goes though, one of these days :).  Look forward to keeping in touch with the finescale scene through this forum, regards and best wishes

Roy.
