Tim, Welcome. You can't go wrong with a Tamiya kit as a start, or restart, into the hobby. Good luck. Let us see some of your work from time to time. - Ed

Welcome aboard. In my opinion Tamiya is a great way to get into (or in your case, back into) the hobby - and also makes for a nice break even after you've moved on to more complicated projects. They go together nicely and make for a nice finished product.

Thanks Robert for your reply.I have worked with Tamiya r/c products and I am impressed with them.I will try one of there kits.Ill let you know how things go...

Welcome to FSM Tim and welcome back to the hobby. IMHO Tamiya still ranks near the top in kits. Good quality & well engineered.

Hi all;
Thanks for the welcome.Im a 48 year old male.Have been building for years,but have not built any kits in the last few years.
Im mainly interested in military aircraft and ships.I have dont a few r/c projects in past few years.Im really looking forward to getting started agian.I dug out all of my supplies and am suprized how much I had and how much of it is still in good shape.Now what kit do I build?
