Hi there 34erd and Sign - Welcome [#welcome] to the FSM forums.  As Marc said modeling is about YOU having fun, don't worry about what you think other people might say about your models.

Cheers

Ok well I'm twelve right now and have been into model airplanes since I was eight (well I started at age six but all I did was stick the main parts together with superglue).  I go on and off between plastic models and free flight models and I really like both.  I haven't been able to do much with plastic models because of my asthma, but its pretty much disapeared now so I want to get into them more.  Last year I was working with a brush and some superglue and acrylic paints, but now I think I want to get an airbrush, because I recently bought a car workers respirator.  I dont have a booth though.  I aso havent been using much in the way of fillers.  Because of this most of my work is horible.  I'm hoping to learn a bunch here, and I should be doing better models once I get an airbrush (I already have a compressor).  I'll post some pictures of my recent models later, but remember all I had was sandpaper, superglue, an exacto knife, a brush, and acrylic paint.
