Hi Folks

Good Monday Evening:

My name is Marshall, I'm a 56 year old model builder and I live in North Central Massachusetts. I began building models in 1957 when some nice plastic models were hitting the local market. The scale wasn't as "true" as it is today but, I had a lot of fun as a young boy building these kits.

My model collection numbers over 750 units that include military vehicles, movie vehicles, planes (prop>>Jet), ships (sail>>nuclear), cars, Star Trek and of course Star Wars to mention but a few.

My collection dates back to a Monogram Ford Tri-Motor, that I bought in 1958, off the shelf for $0.50. It's still in it's original box and un-made.

That's it for now!

Welcome to FSM, Marshall. Your collection sounds familiar! I started out building the same kits. Hope you'll enjoy the site and offer your observations and expertise to the members. - Ed
