Welcome to FSM Rob and welcome back to the hobby. Most of us have to fit our modelling between the many lists that life throws at us, but we do manage.

Really nice of you to offer to share your home brew with us.

Enjoy the forums.

Greetings to all -
My name is Rob and, like Hetzer, I am a new old modeler. I am 44 years old and have recently gotten back into building NASCAR 1/24. I don't necessarily care for box-stock, so I am tending to modify with aftermarket and scratchbuilt parts and pieces. I have been on a modeling hiatus for the past few weeks, as I have had some honey-do's, daddy-do's, and mother-do's ( my mom is recently widowed ) to get out of the way, plus I have been busy building a paint storage cabinet and a spray paint booth. I'm getting the serious itch to finish the 97 Labonte MC I have nearly completed, so I can get to the other 40 or so models I have waiting for me. As I get rolling again, hopefully I will be able to post some tips to help others bypass the problems I may encounter. I am also working on "home-made" decal setting and solvent solutions ( I'm also cheap!!! ), so as soon as I have the recipes worked out to my satisfaction, I wiil post them on the "Tips and Techniques" section of the forum. Sorry for being so long-winded, and thanks for having me.
