One of the older new kids on the block

Grandpa Tom here. I am retired after 31 years with Texas Instruments where I worked on both the Shrike and Harm missles, the Harpoon anti-ship missle and the Paveway guided bomb program. I am the son of a veteran, the brother of two veterans and the father of two veterans. I am partial to WWII aircraft but have been known to model some aircraft without propellers. I was in the Air Force for four years where I maintained the Thunder-Stick integrated radar, sight and bombing computer system on the Republic F-105D Thunderchief. I have been married for almost 41 years and my better half is very supportive of my modeling hobby. I have posted to the forum twice and appreciate the friendly advice and tips that I have received.
