Hi, fellow modelers! I've been back at this hobby for about 18 years now after a long vacation, and it feels great, especially with the quality and variety of new subjects now available. My first try upon my return was armor, and I invested a few years in building those before I got hooked on aircraft, both in 1/48 and 1/72, and now it's all I do (with the exception of a figure every now and then to break the monotony).....mostly WWII but lately I've been on a WWI kick. Right now I have an Eduard Albatros D.V (#8110) in the works (markings look nice, but I'll be using Eagle Strike lozenge and rib tapes instead) and after that, I just might feel confident enough to tackle that DML SPAD XIII that has been on my shelf for what seems like forever.![Wink [;)]](/FSM/CS/emoticons/icon_smile_wink.gif)
Anyway, it feels good to be here. I am looking forward very much to seeing everyone's work and to contributing as much as 18+ years of modeling experience and one wife will allow.
