hello everyone,
i'm wesley inay, 21 yrs old, living in quezon city, a modeler from the philippines, i like modelling armor in 1/72 scale and figures in 1/35 scale. my current project now is 172 academy a-10 oif (my favorite plane!) and a 1/72 dragon m1a1 mine plough, i'm also a member of the IPMS Bert Anido Chapter and they have really been helped and supported me in this hooby (thanks guys).
i would say that i was hooked into this hobby when i first got a copy of the FSM magazine during college, the one with the cover story about john leyland's 1/700 carriers. the first model i built was a 1/72 academy spitfire with many seams, mold lines and patches of dried tube glue. i also did not paint it so the model was substandard. because i was studying, my allowance is not enough to buy paints and other accessories needed but right now i have a nice paying job making me buy paints, kits, airbrush/compressors wherever i need them.
i would like to thank members of the IPMS Bert Anido Chapter for encouraging me into this hobby, would also thank the guys from the forums who replied to some of my modelling problems, thanks to paul boyer for some advices in the past and to FSM! for introducing and providing a means to enjoy the hobby. FSM rocks!!!
