There is really good book on 109's by Dan Patterson.  I've got his Hurricane book and it's amazing.  I picked it up at my campus bookstore for under $10! BSU bookstore is in with Barnes and Noble and it was in the bargin books.

Hi James,

Welcome.  Kits have an annoying way of talking you into taking them home don't they.  Build what makes you happy.

See you around.

Yes they deff do. I have been researching just a bit on bf109 and I think i like the B109f-2. Only not to sure if the plane I have can be made into that. BF109 is all it says haha. Well see... I couldnt stand looking at them at work anymore and decide to make the switch from car to plane. Im building a real car in the garage so I figure I can do planes in house haha

Welcome psychoblue23, I know what you mean about the school crap.  I'm 23 and finishing up engineering school.  Hard to find time to enjoy the hobby.  Anyway glad to have you and enjoy your stay!
Things could be worse. Suppose your errors were counted and published every day, like those of a baseball player. Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off... the right pitch will come, but when it does, be prepared to run the bases.

Well I guess a small introduction is a good way to start. My name is James, and I am 26. I work at HobbyTownUSA while being a fulltime student studying photo journalism. So yea that covers the personal info.

Im not new to modeling, I have been doing cars here and there for fun since I was about 8. I am however new to anything military. I have always loved the WWII cataegory of planes and besides photo, history (speciificaly WWII) is my fav subject. There used to be a pizza parlor owned by a family in my area that had like 100 planes hanging from the ceiling, all models built by the owner. Since I was a kid I always wanted to build some. So yea.. here I am finally starting.

My first kit will be the Hasegawa Bf109F 'HAHN' Its one of my 3 favorite and we also happen to have a few in stock at work so I picked it up today.

Anyways.... I am sure it will be nice talking to all of you. So yea... Cheers.

James
