Well, I have actually met, browsed an LMS, and had a beer with NZDER56, who picked up a "double" Airfix 1:48 Buccaneer <G>.

Hi Bruce

Welcome.

Great to see a fellow Kiwi and an Aucklander here at this forum.

I am not sure of just how many Kiwis frequent this forum I note that there a number of Aussies judging by the existence of the 97 plus page Forum posted here somewhere.

I like the variety of your projects.

Regards

Sean

Hi From Auckland

Long Time Reader, re-subscriber, new to this forum.

I've been modelling since 1970, and I have bought / subscribed to FSM since late '89. I've never competed, and I've never been very good, though.

My modelling interests cover most subjects, howver I do prefer pretty aeroplanes, especially if they're military.

I'm not a very prolific builder, and it's a real accomplishment for me to finish anything. So far this year, I've finished two Spitfires, one in 1:72 and one in 1:48. I'm hoping to finish a few more, though.

On my bench, I have a Millenium Falcon (almost finished), a P-39 under restoration, several Spitfires of various scales, a Fulmar, a couple of Hurricanes, a Bf 109 or so, and armour including 1:35 Jagdpanther, Jagdtiger, Nashorn, 1:76 Centurion, 1:600 Ajax, Exeter (converting from Ajax).

I like Group Builds, mainly because they can focus me to finish something.

I look forward to participating here.

Cheerio,

Bruce
