Finally getting around to joining the forum group.  Been modeling plastics since '54, and after a forced near hiatus (been buying, but no time to throw them together) of seven years, I'm finally getting back to sticking some plastic together.  Which explains why I have nearly 1500 in boxes.  Build anything in plastic, although #1 is still 1/72nd WWII Luftwaffe birds (around 800 of those.)  At one time, I built all the Tamiya armor, through the first 100 or so, and built cars (still do) for nearly 20 years.  Currently have in the neighborhood of 15 projects active.  Not counting a few, like the Lufthansa Boeing 247 which was started sometime back in the late '70's, I have started the majority within the last 3-4 years.  Have all issues of FSM, along with several other magazines and a farily extensive Luftwaffe library.  Been a member of IPMS for a long time and am currently a member of two chapters, one in AZ and one in NE.  Glad to be a member of a great group.

I would, but I love each and everyone of them very dearly.  Which may explain why I'm afraid of hurting them if I use a #11 on them.

Many THX, Falcon.  Are you a Warthog fan?  Someday I'm atually going to finish my Trumpeter.  Besides the kit, I've bought about $400.00 worth of detail and decals.  Most of fuselage in front of the wing is gone for resin.  Currently building the Airmo metal Avenger.  Been holding as I never got a picture of the business end of the big boy to find out what holds the muzzle cover on.  Lived for 15 years in Phoenix and saw a lot of the hogs from Tucson, lots of pictures, but never one with the muzzle cover off.  Have a great day.

You know, the worst part is when you see a kit and you are trying to remember if you already have it.  Then you buy it for $30-$40, get it home, and, voila, you find the one already in your "collection."  Oh well, that gives you the chance to build one and save one.
