New Guy into ships

Hi, I have been modelling on and off for ~15 years and only relatively recently been trying to make some good ones. I have been using FSM and Model Boats mags. to improve my skills etc. I only make ships and have been trying the Tirpitz and Le Soleil Royal which you may know are large scale. I find this sclae hard enough and often marvel at what amazing jobs people do on the smaller/larger? scales.
I am finding it is also time consuming.

Thanks for the articles and especially Rusty White and please carry-on with them - maybe try a large scale model?
