Getting back into the hobby
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, February 4, 2003 8:50 PM
My name is Jeremiah (also known as Doc) and I am finally getting back into the hobby after about an 8 year break for high school, college and my new career. I am currently serving in the USAF as a maintenance officer on the A-10 and looking forward to getting my hands on the 1-32 scale version from Trumpeter. I mainly enjoy large scale aircraft and ships where I can add extreme details. Let me know if there is anyone out there with questions i can answer on details concerning the A-10. Glad to be back in the hobby.

Awesome airplane! My friend works on A-10's at Barnes in MA. He works on the fuel systems. I've gotten some nice up close and personal tours thanks to him. Someday I plan to build a super detailed 1/32 scale kit and give it to my buddy.

welcome
Darren

It's funny you should mention Barnes. I am back from a trip to our military's favorite beach (wink, wink) and we stopped through MA. Got some great help from those guys when some of the jets broke pretty hard. Tell your friend thanks for the support and hope to see the finished product in a few years.
