Hello all, I'm Gator.

Just got back into modeling after too many years.  I built quite a few cars, ships, and planes in my youth, and about 15 years ago put together a few military planes.  But law school came along and took up too much of my time.  Oh well.

Last week I picked up a model DC-6 on a whim.  I had a 40% off coupon, so the $18 model was only about ten bucks.  Yeah sure.  Then I had to buy paints, knives, airbrush, thinners, files, etc. to do it right.  Then I had to set up a spare room just to build in.  My wife loves that the ten dollar model has now cost well over a hundred and I haven't put a single piece together yet.  At least I already have a compressor out in the wood shop.

Well, won't ramble too much.  Have already gotten some good ideas reading these forums.  Take care.
