thanks to all for your welcome,

for your question , our Lanc was build by Austin UK in 1945 with serial number NX664.

it is a MKVII with dual control wheel in the cockpit and without a top turret on the fuselage.

this one has been salvage from Wallis and Futuna Island ( South Pacific).

it was the last one of the french navy and it was in poor condition ( all instuments was removed by the navy, some steel plate of the fuselage was removed by the local occupants, and the pilot seat is a the dentist of the island.....)

Welcome on the forum Sébastien!

Les gens sont super ici.  C'est très cool comme ambiance.  On va peut-être se parler aussi sur "les colleurs de plastique"

Essai de nous montrer quelques-uns de tes modèle quand tu peux.

À bientôt.

No matter where you go ....... there you are.

Can you find out if the Lanc was built in England or Canada? If Canada, maybe my mother worked on it!

So long folks!

Hello everybody

my name is Sébastien

Lancaster 21 is due to the fact that I am a member of a french association nearly from Paris wich restore an Avro Lancaster wich he has flown in the french navy with the number 21.

my  interest is for all aircrafts used by the french Army; Navy and Airforce from the beggining to today in 1/48 scale ( American, German, British, Japanese and of course French aircrafts)

sometimes , I made 1/35 scale models for my brother.

maybe , one day, i hope to post a picture of one of his models and one of my collection.
