Welcome to FSM Pat. You and Blackwolf are going to get along well! He's a P-40 guy like you.

INTRODUCTION AND A QUESTION
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, August 19, 2003 12:46 PM
]HI - MY NAME IS PAT GORMAN.

MY INTERESTS (IN MODELING) ARE EDSEL/TUCKER SUBJECTS, TITANIC, AND EARLY WWII AIRCRAFT WITH A SPECIAL INTEREST IN THE P-40. I HAVE SEVERAL PROJECTS THAT ARE IN PROGRESS TO SOME DEGREE SUCH AS A EDSEL BONEYARD (PLANNING STAGES), A RADIO CONTROLLED 1/87 TITANIC (STERN ALMOST COMPLETED AND CURRENT PROJECT JUST GETTING UNDERWAY - 1/32 SCALE B-29 MOTHERSHIP WITH BELL X-1 IN THE BELLY. THIS BRINGS ME UP TO THE QUESTION I HAVE WHICH IS THIS - I UNDERSTAND THE SEPT. ISSUE OF FSM IS GOING TO HAVE AN ARTICLE ON THE CHUCK YEAGER X-1 - DO YOU KNOW IF THERE WILL BE ANY PICTURES OR DISCUSSION OF THE B-29/B-50'S THAT WERE USED AS THE INIATIAL TEST/LAUNCH VEHICLE FOR THE EARLY FLIGHTS. I HAVE SOME (NOT GREAT) PHOTO ARTICLES FROM THE WEB THAT SHOW THE MOTHERSHIP BUT NOT A LOT OF DETAIL. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE APPRECIATED!
