Hi all,
Dedicated armour modeller here, coming back after a 12 year break! Cant believe how much the hobby has changed in all this time. Thank heavens for FSM, now I can see what I need to do to get things right!
Well, I have more kits than time, and the most recent addition is an airbrush and compressor, so if anyone has tips on airbrushing armour, then roll on up!
In return I can geve you the best drybrushing techniques you will find!!!

From what I've seen of New Zealand in the movies and books and such, you live in a very beautiful country! I've always wanted to vacation there. I love the Maori artwork, tatoo and sculpture. Been toying with the idea of getting a moko for years.
Welcome to the forum!

Welcome back to the hobby Ian. And welcome to FSM.

Maybe I'll ask for your advice on drybrushing later.

Thanks all for the good wishes!! I think we tend to race about in this busy little world we live in, and forget how simple it is to say Hi and Good Morning to each other.
So everyone, thanks again for proving what a great hobby we do, and the truely nice people that are part of it!!
I am happy to be sitting in the warm glow of an international bretheren (and sisterin too I guess!!), and long may it continue like this...

Hi Ian

Glad we are not outnumbered in this part of the world. I have been modelling on and off for forty years--mostly off

Welcome Ian,

You seem to be in the same boat as the rest of us....more kits than time Tongue [:P]

It's also good to have another modeler in our armor forums. Hope to see you posting with the rest of us "Tread-Heads"
