Hi, my name is Steve Gilbody and my focus in modelling is automotive, but I admit that military modelling offers me a little more latitude in scratchbuilding and weathering. Also, because my father was a medical officer with the Navy, attached to the Second Marines and went from Hawaii to Okinawa, I am fascinated with the Pacific Theater. I would like to find a website or book that will tell me the meanings (history) of the different hinomaru used by the IJN. My websearches so far have not turned up any definitive information.
