Hi Tony;
Welcome to FSM Forum. I am resonable new to the Forum also and have also had an interest in Model Railoads(HO scale that is). I am also of a similar age and can tell age is no barrier to modelling.

Lately there been a few military railway kits released by Dragon in 1/35 scale although no motive power kits that I know of. Would be interested in information on building one in this scale to go with the Dragon Kits.

Wayne I enjoy getting older, especially when I consider the alternative.

LOCO'S IN 1/35th scale
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, August 23, 2003 2:55 AM
Hi there South Auzzie, thanx for the welcome.I dont think I mentioned that my models are either kit bashed or scratch built.
I model narrow guage using Peco HO track [in 1/35 scale this is as near as dammit to two foot guage]. My locos are rebuilt superstructures built on to HO commercial chassis in various wheel configurations.My railroad is representative of the small logging roads scattered around North America in the early 1900's.
These Railroads were normally run on a shoestring budget so the equipment was real "rag tag"stuff which of course is a perfect platform for scratch building.I will be posting some photos of my models in the near future. Thanx for the info regarding the 1/35 military rolling stock.I'll have to check them out. CHEERS
