Hi!

Hi everyone. I am not originally from the US but already settled in NJ area. I started modeling during my teens in Manila and only after 20 years I rediscovered my passion for this hobby. For me this is a gratifying endeavor, since in this hobby I can satisfy and express my curiosity for anything mechanical and aesthetics. I am a fan of DaVinci's work, the ingenuity of the people that brought us great inventions, the mechanical marvel of our times and of course the beautiful creations of man in his pursuit for excellence or folly. I am partial to anything that flies, specially the war machines (though I abhor their purpose in war). I also dabber in Sci-Fi (big fan of SW, BSG, Manga, Voltes V, etc.), ships and dioramas, but totally helpless in figures (can't get those skin tones correctly).

Just like most of the people in this forum, I am a helpless victim of having too many models to complete w/ so few hours to spare. (Of course, most of my time is already locked-in to my family). But I enjoy seeing other's excel in this hobby, their beautiful models and their creative execution in achieving great aesthetics.

I'll try to post some of my works (when I completed them) over here for critique and also for learning.

Cheers!

Sign - Welcome [#welcome] to the forums! Pull up a keyboard and stay a while.

I'm fast becoming one of those "helpless" victims myself, though I believe most of us "helped" ourselves to too many kits in the first place! Wink [;)] I've built aircraft, armor and auto, but have managed to avoid ships or figures. I am also leery of figures due to the skin tones, though I have found in real life the color of the skin just doesn't matter. Glad to have you join us here, there are lots of great people with much to teach!

So long folks!
