Thanks everybody!  I'm still working on getting some supplies and then I'll finally be able to start.  Perusing through this forum shows me that there will be no lack of knowledge to assist me!

I'm so glad for this forum, because as you said I'll get a lot of advice!

I wouldn't say one aircraft in particular, but mainly military, WWII-Modern.  What I got from dkmacin is a Tamiya FW190 D-9 which I can't wait to build.  Just need to pick up the supplies and I'll be on it!

Hello!
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, September 8, 2006 6:53 PM

Thanks to the charity and goodwill of dkmacin, I have started to get back into modelling after a few years away from it.  I did it when I was a kid way back when, but then through the busy times of high-school and college I got away from it, but I'm ready to rock once again!

I'm currently in Missouri but being in the Air Force means I won't be here for long.  I'm originally from Northeast Pennsylvania where most of my older models (and supplies) are.  This means that I'll be hunting for new supplies so if you have any advice check out my post in the Tools Forum!

I'm mainly into aircraft, but picked up a tank a few years back in college (which I never started)!  Thanks to dkmacin I've got a new Focke-Wulf FW-190 D-9 to start me up again.

I'm very excited to get back into this great hobby and can't wait to get all of the advice and help I can from such knowledgeable and skillful people.  It's great to be here!
